About US
LAPSO (Psychology Laboratory) is a support structure for the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (ECSH), the Center for Research and Social Intervention (CIS-Iscte), as well as the entire Iscte community. The laboratory supports research and training in Psychology at Iscte, in its most varied areas of study and levels of education. LAPSO encompasses not only the physical space of the laboratory, but also a wide range of equipment, resources and services.
OUR MISSION
LAPSO supports the development of research in Psychology carried out by students at all levels of education (bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral), by ECSH lecturers and by CIS-Iscte researchers. The laboratory is also a space for promoting the development of skills, supporting the teaching and scientific activities of the Psychology Department and organizing training activities in different fields open to the entire Iscte community. LAPSO also organizes scientific outreach events, including school visits for secondary school students and Iscte activities.
